Back in 2010, our family had a small birthday party for one of the kids. We were putting together return gifts, and I remember thinking, “The gifts are lovely, but the bags feel so plain.” That moment stuck with me. I’ve always believed that giving should feel warm — not just about what’s inside, but how it’s shared. That’s when the idea of Nicky Bags was born.

It didn’t start big. Just a few handmade bags, stitched at home with leftover fabric. Cotton scraps here, jute pieces there. Friends saw them and smiled. They started asking if I could make more — for their weddings, baby showers, and festivals. Slowly, one bag became ten, and ten became a hundred. And today, years later, we’re still here, doing what we love — creating gift bags with heart.

At Nicky Bags, we make different types of bags — cotton, jute, and non-woven. They’re simple, strong, and colorful. We make sure every piece is something we would gift ourselves. Most of our bags are reusable and eco-friendly because we care deeply about the Earth we live on. We want our bags to last longer than just one event.

Every design has a story. Some are bright and cheerful, perfect for birthdays. Some are soft and calm, just right for weddings or baby showers. We play with colors, prints, and fabrics — not in a big factory, but in small rooms, often with music playing in the background and lots of laughter. Some are stitched by loving hands from local women who treat this not just as work, but as craft. And that’s something we’re proud of.

We don’t make thousands of bags in a day. We make a few, with care. Each one matters. Because we know it might be part of someone’s special day — a child’s party, a grandparent’s celebration, or a friend’s farewell.

Over the years, Nicky Bags has become more than just a name. It’s a part of our family. A piece of love we get to share with others. And every time someone chooses one of our bags, it feels like they’re trusting us with a small moment in their life. That means the world.
